Work Environments & Productivity

Google is the number one place to work in the USA. One million applications chasing 4000 jobs each year. Free food served in ‘gourmet’ canteens, and a belief that ‘hierarchy is bad’ etc have attracted many of the brightest and the best. It has a killer application that makes a mint. Is Google successful because of the organisational culture alone? I doubt it. But they are making a mint and good luck to them! Whets my appetite! Oh and by the way, the Google Ads guys which is the big money  making arm of Google - they use SCRUM.
